We know that being a new parent (or anticipating becoming a parent) can sometimes be a daunting time and that many have questions about what to expect and what is normal.
Your GPs have designed a series of sessions to help empower you during this time.
These sessions are available to new or expecting parents registered at the PCN practices:
- Central Medical Centre
- Morden Hall Medical Centre
- Ravensbury Park Medical Centre
- Stonecot Surgery

The sessions are run by your GP teams working alongside the Paediatrics team from St. Georges Hospital and the infant feeding team from Central London Community Healthcare Trust.
Each group has capacity for up to 12 parents, as spaces are limited please just sign up for sessions that you will be able to attend.
The sessions will be held via MS teams.

The usual format of the session is:
- Patients welcomed by Care Coordinators and security and location checks undertaken.
- Plan of session and confidentiality discussed, confirmed consent.
- Care Coordinators introduce discussion board and invite participants to think of questions
- Professional joins session, discusses questions and also offers to answer any questions with each parent
- There is an opportunity to learn from the questions which are asked by others.
